Reach Out to Life Foundation was started in 2008 by an ensemble of psychologists to address the issue of suicides among youth and to encourage the development of city youth.
What began as a college initiative to address the increasing rates of suicides in colleges, intensified into a larger movement. As our team expanded, we started working with government schools and communities as well.

Reach Out to Life Foundation is rooted in the visionary ideas of Alfred Adler, who introduced the concept of ‘Social Interest’—or Gemeinschaftsgefuhl—a deep-seated sense of community and belonging that is essential for personal and collective well-being. We believe that every individual is a meaning maker whose personal narrative shapes their experience of the world. Our founding principles center on empowering youth to discover purpose and value in their lives, helping them identify opportunities for growth and connection.
Through our diverse programs—from workshops to outreach drives—we strive to build a compassionate community where every young person feels empowered and integral.
